SCM Minimax FS 52ES – Combined Planer-Thicknesser / Jointer-Planer
The SCM Minimax FS 52ES is a professional-grade combined surface planer, thicknesser and jointer-planer designed for demanding woodworking, joinery and cabinetmaking environments. This versatile machine delivers smooth, accurate planing and thicknessing with a stable, rigid build that supports precision timber preparation and finishing in a compact workshop format.
Perfect surface finish is achieved with a 95 mm diameter cutterblock with 4 knives, engineered for minimal effort and consistent results. Adjustable thicknesser feed rollers and a helicoidal infeed roller provide firm, constant workpiece feed, while the outfeed roller maintains excellent surface quality.
The FS 52ES features ribbed cast-iron surfacing tables with ergonomic 2200 mm length that open simultaneously towards the inside, offering superior support and long-term stability. A cast-iron thicknessing table lifts on four spindles with dust-protected trapezoidal threads for reliable performance over years of regular use.
